Johan Rojas responds to boos and talks about his future in the league

Santo Domingo – Gigantes del Cibao outfielder Johan Rojas offered statements after last night’s game, addressing the reaction of the Tigres del Licey fans and his perspective on the game. Rojas, who was booed by Licey fans, stated that this situation does not affect him, but rather serves as motivation on the field.

Well, I have never… I haven’t been the only one booed here or in the world. That serves me as motivation and nothing, blessings to them.

The player downplayed the boos, showing a calm attitude and focused on his performance. Regarding the recent statements about the arbitration in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), Rojas preferred not to comment.

When asked if the league approached him after his previous comments about the refereeing, the player responded:

Respectfully, I have no comment for your question. You can ask me again later.

Making it clear that for the moment they do not wish to revisit that topic that generated multiple reactions. Another topic addressed was the possibility of Rojas playing with the Licey in a hypothetical final, given that he has done so in the past. The player was clear in his response. “I don’t have any… I mean, at the end of the day, I’m a ballplayer and what interests me is winning. I want to lift the crown with the Gigantes del Cibao.”
