The controversy erupted after Rojas shared a story with a message that was interpreted as a mockery of the blue team, following their elimination from the Round Robin of the Dominican winter baseball tournament.In the video, Rojas admitted his mistake and acknowledged that the publication was not appropriate, clarifying that he did not measure the impact of his actions. The player also extended his apologies to the Licey fans, highlighting the support received during his time with the team. My apologies also to the Licey fan, who supported me from day one. The post I made last night was in jest for me, but when I woke up today I realized it wasn’t like that. Rojas concluded by reiterating his regret and calling for enjoyment of the championship’s closing.
