Rodrygo Goes, injured for Real Madrid
Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward, Rodrygo Goes, will be out of action for approximately ten days due to tendinosis in the hamstring of his right leg.
The club confirmed the injury after tests carried out by the medical services, after the player experienced discomfort that prevented him from training normally.
Rodrygo is expected to be able to return for the league match against Osasuna, scheduled for February 21st.
In addition to the injury, the player will not be able to participate in the first leg of the playoffs prior to the UEFA Champions League round of 16, on February 17, due to a disciplinary suspension.
Rodrygo was sent off in the last European match against SL Benfica in Lisbon, and received a two-match ban for unsportsmanlike conduct.
This is the second time Rodrygo has suffered an injury in 2026. After the Spanish Super Cup final against FC Barcelona, the forward was also absent due to physical discomfort.
In recent matches, the Brazilian has had few appearances, with limited minutes against Benfica and Rayo Vallecano.
The Real Madrid technical staff will be attentive to his recovery, with specific sessions to be able to count on him in the final stretch of the season.
