The game, which brought together stars from the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (Lidom) and the Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (Lbprc) of Puerto Rico, marked a milestone as the first official “All-Star Game” type matchup on the continental United States. Emmanuel Rodríguez was key in the Dominican victory, hitting a two-run home run. In addition, Wester Rivas drove in two runs to secure the victory.
