Santo Domingo – In a special coverage from the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, Alofoke Deportes spoke with several baseball players about their plans and traditions for Christmas Eve dinner this December 24th. The players shared their expectations, focusing on harmony and family companionship, highlighting the importance of enjoying the festivities with their loved ones.

Francisco Peña, catcher for the Estrellas Orientales, highlighted that his favorite moment is sharing with his family, mentioning that pork and moro are essential elements in his Christmas dinner.

For his part, Gilbert Gómez, leader of the Tigres del Licey, explained that together with his wife, they alternate the celebration of Christmas Eve each year between their respective parents, thus ensuring the reunion with the whole family. Gómez also revealed that pasteles en hojas and chicken skin cannot be missing from his table. Robinson Canó shared that pork, chicken, dumplings, and Russian salad are some of the dishes that cannot be missing from his celebration.
