Red Sox Rally in Baltimore with Bello and Rafaela to the Top

The Boston Red Sox secured an exciting 3-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, thanks to a spectacular comeback in the ninth inning. Wednesday night’s game highlighted the performance of Dominican pitcher Brayan Bello and the decisive home run by Ceddanne Rafaela.

The game was full of twists. An error in the seventh inning, the product of confusion between Jarren Duran and Rafaela in the outfield, allowed a two-run double by Dylan Carlson that seemed to give the Orioles the lead. However, Duran and Rafaela redeemed themselves in the ninth. Duran started the inning with a single and Rafaela hit a two-run home run between left and center field, giving Boston the lead back.

Despite not getting the win, Brayan Bello once again demonstrated his solidity on the mound. The Dominican right-hander pitched 6.2 innings, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned), with six strikeouts and only one walk. His performance kept the Red Sox in the fight, culminating in the victory in the last inning.

With this triumph, the Red Sox have a 6-1 record in their current eight-game road trip through New York and Baltimore, solidifying their position in the American League East.
