Santo Domingo – The 2025 season of the Dominican Drift Series came to its exciting conclusion at the Autódromo Internacional Las Américas. Rafael Adames, representing Team La Cangrena, was crowned champion for the fourth time in the PRO category, marking his second consecutive title and solidifying himself as a double national bicamp in the Dominican drift world.

Adames: Absolute Domination in the PRO Category

Even though Franklin Castro won Round 3 of the National Drift Championship, followed by Adames in second place and Omar Castellanos in third, the accumulation of points throughout the season secured the overall championship for Adames. The final day of the championship brought together the best exponents of the PRO and INTER categories, offering a spectacle full of technique and adrenaline in each competition. The final event demonstrated the commitment of the fans to the growth of this sport and the maintenance of public interest.

Juan José Jáquez is Crowned in the INTER Category

In the INTER category, Juan José Jáquez was the undisputed protagonist, winning Round 3. Euris García and Akeem Abbot completed the podium. Jáquez’s consistent performance throughout the season secured him the 2025 national champion title in this category. The event was organized by the Dominican Drift Runners Club (CDCD) and was supported by the Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA), demonstrating the constant growth of this discipline in the country. The final day had an international component, with the participation of guest drivers from Brazil and Puerto Rico, raising the level of the competition and strengthening the ties of Caribbean drift.
