SANTO DOMINGO – The manager of the Dominican Republic baseball team, Albert Pujols, has announced the rotation of starting pitchers who will represent the Dominican Republic in the initial phase of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. The information was shared during an interview on the radio program “Mañana Deportiva”. Pujols confirmed the starting pitchers’ order for the first round:
  • Christopher Sánchez will open against Nicaragua.
  • Luis Severino will go to the mound against the Netherlands.
  • Brayan Bello will be in charge of starting the duel against Israel.
  • Sandy Alcántara will close the group stage against Venezuela.
The Dominican strategist emphasized that all the selected pitchers are in optimal physical condition and without restrictions.
