Resounding Success at the Palos Quitao Charity Golf Tournament in Casa de Campo

La Romana Country Club at Casa de Campo was the setting for the 21st edition of the Palos Quitao (PQ) Charity Golf Tournament, an emblematic event that has left a significant mark on the community since 1991. On this occasion, the tournament reaffirmed its commitment to solidarity, exceeding expectations and establishing itself as a benchmark in the sports and charitable field. The tournament, which featured the participation of 174 golfers and 24 padel players, was distinguished by its atmosphere of camaraderie and healthy competition. The participants enjoyed a high-quality event, thanks to the impeccable organization and the excellent conditions of the golf course at La Romana Country Club.

Celebrating this 21st edition commits us to the best causes of our country and that is why we express our gratitude to all the companies that are part of this sporting event every year.

Michele Podestá, Alejandro Farach, and José Bonetti were the winners of the tournament, demonstrating their skill on the field. The technical coordination was in charge of Raúl Cendoya, who ensured that each player had a memorable experience. At the awards ceremony, 1.5 million pesos were awarded to the Heart Care Dominicana, FACCI, and WalkAbout Foundation, reinforcing the positive impact of the tournament on society.

The event culminated in a gala dinner where the players shared with sponsors, board members, and special guests. In recognition of their dedication, the work of Miguel Roig and Maríajosé Turull de Roig was highlighted for their contribution to the success of the tournament. Since 1991, the Palos Quitao Association has donated more than 15 million pesos to various foundations.
