Publio Peláez Takes Over as Head of Research at the DCNB
Santo Domingo – The National Baseball Commissioner’s Office (DCNB) announced the appointment of Publio Peláez as the new head of investigation for the entity. The announcement was made by Junior Noboa, executive director of the DCNB. Peláez will assume a crucial role in verifying the identity and age of prospects seeking to sign in professional baseball. In addition, he will oversee baseball academies and leagues throughout the country, as part of the DCNB’s commitment to integrity and transparency in the training of young talents.The appointment of Peláez, which will be honorary, is based on his extensive career. He has more than 25 years of experience in institutional investigation and control, including his work as head of the anti-fraud department of the United States Consulate in Santo Domingo.
