Miami, USA – Paramount has announced the exclusive acquisition of the UFC broadcasting rights in the United States starting in 2026, in a deal valued at $7.7 billion. This significant investment marks a significant change in the way fans will be able to enjoy mixed martial arts events.
The agreement, with a duration of seven years, will end the pay-per-view model currently in use. Starting in 2026, Paramount+ will be the primary platform for streaming the complete UFC programming, including 13 featured numbered events and 30 “Fight Nights”. Some numbered events will also be simulcast on CBS, Paramount’s leading broadcast network.
The agreement involves an annual payment of $1.1 billion, reflecting the magnitude of the investment and Paramount’s commitment to the UFC.
Dana White, CEO and president of the UFC, called the deal “historic.” White highlighted that, for the first time, fans in the United States will have access to all UFC content without having to pay per event, making the fights more accessible on a massive platform. This announcement comes after the recent merger between Skydance Media and Paramount Global, consolidating the acquisition of one of Hollywood’s most emblematic studios. This agreement is historic and will benefit UFC fighters and fans.
