Santo Domingo – The team from Universidad Dominicana O&M FC is preparing for a crucial challenge in the Caribbean Cup 2025. Next Thursday, October 23rd, at 6:00 p.m., they will face Cibao FC at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo.
This match represents the first leg of the semi-finals of the tournament, a clash between two Dominican soccer powerhouses.
Road to the Semifinals
Both clubs have proven their worth by overcoming the group stage of the Caribbean competition.
O&M FC secured their place in this stage after key victories, including a triumph against Central FC of Trinidad and Tobago and another against SV Robinhood of Suriname. These historic results guarantee them a place among the four best teams in the Caribbean.
Cibao FC, for its part, secured its classification as group leader, thus obtaining direct access to the semifinals.
The series will be defined through home and away matches. The second match is scheduled for October 30 in Santiago de los Caballeros, at the Cibao FC stadium.
