Ohtani stars in epic comeback for the Dodgers
In an encounter full of emotions, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks with a score of 14-11, thanks to a spectacular comeback led by Shohei Ohtani.
The Dodgers, after squandering an initial five-run lead, found themselves trailing 11-8 at the start of the ninth inning. However, the Los Angeles offense reacted forcefully.
Andy Pagés and Kiké Hernández started the comeback with consecutive doubles that drove in runs. Max Muncy tied the game with a single, setting the stage for Ohtani’s stellar performance.
With a 1-2 count, Ohtani hit his 12th home run of the season, sending the ball near the pool in right field.
