La Vega – The Los Plus RD platform held a successful panel with the renowned Major League Baseball player, Nelson Cruz, attracting more than 200 young entrepreneurs, business people, and leaders from La Vega and its surroundings. The event, which reached its maximum capacity, was established as a meeting point for inspiration and learning for the new generations.
The event focused on Nelson Cruz’s outstanding career in professional baseball, as well as his experience as general manager of the Dominican team in the World Baseball Classic. Cruz shared valuable lessons on discipline, leadership, and personal growth. During the activity, he was honored for his outstanding sports career, his leadership, and his contribution to the development of Dominican baseball.
In addition, businessman Yasser González, CEO of Clenear Studio, was recognized as a meritorious son of the province of La Vega, in recognition of his business vision and his commitment to the economic and social development of the region.
As a special guest, the outstanding Venezuelan player Luis Arraez participated, who shared with those present and expressed his satisfaction for visiting La Vega and being part of the event, highlighting the initiative of Los Plus RD to promote spaces for motivation and growth.
During the day, young people and outstanding entities were also honored for their contribution to sports, business, and culture. Among them, Many Mora, motocross champion; Jobel Coronado, enduro champion; Frank Brito, FIBA basketball leader; as well as Iván, Enmanuel and José Morilla, for their dedication to the family business, stood out. Likewise, the emblematic group of the Vegano Carnival Los Broncos was recognized for its 45 years of experience, as a symbol of identity and cultural tradition of the province.
The director of Los Plus RD, Elmerk Jonas, expressed his gratitude for the support received and emphasized that these meetings seek to project La Vega as a national reference, attracting successful figures and highlighting the talent, culture, and leadership of the province.
