Monte Plata Crowned Champion in the AA Baseball Cup
Sabana Grande de Boyá, Monte Plata – The representative team of the municipality of Monte Plata won the title of champion in the first edition of the AA Baseball Cup. The event, which took place at the Berto Castillo Play in Sabana Grande de Boyá, was organized by the deputy Jhon Contreras. The competition was supported by provincial leader Víctor Pichardo and brought together the teams of Yamasá/Peralvillo, Monte Plata, Bayaguana and Sabana Grande de Boyá, who faced each other in intense days. The final game, which kept fans on the edge of their seats, culminated in a score of 5 runs to 4, awarding the victory to Monte Plata. The champion team received a prize of RD$70,000, while the runner-up, Sabana Grande de Boyá, was recognized with RD$30,000.Deputy Jhon Contreras expressed his gratitude to the authorities and the sports community, highlighting the relevance of these initiatives to foster youth talent and enhance sports development in the province.
