Dominican baseball player Agustín Ramírez starred in a performance that propelled the Marlins to victory in their game against the Padres.

Padres vs. Marlins

Agustin Ramirez proved his worth with a home run, four RBIs, and two runs scored, leading the comeback of the Miami Marlins on the field of the Padres in San Diego. Otto Lopez, also Dominican, contributed a three-run homer, while Jesus Sanchez added two runs for the Marlins. Ronny Henriquez (3-1) from the mound, allowed two runs with three strikeouts in two innings. Venezuelans Luis Arráez and Elías Díaz contributed runs, and Manny Machado along with Xander Bogaerts added to the Padres’ score.

Guardians vs. Dodgers

Ángel Martínez, from the Dominican Republic, shone with a three-run home run and two runs scored, leading the Cleveland Guardians to victory.

José Ramírez scored and drove in a run, with Carlos Santana and Jhonkensy Noel adding for the Guardians. For the Dodgers, Andy Pages, Kiké Hernández, and Teoscar Hernández contributed runs.

Rays vs. Twins

Junior Caminero, from the Dominican Republic, hit a two-run homer, and Jonathan Aranda scored two runs and drove in one for the Rays. Yandy Díaz scored a run, and Edwin Uceta pitched a scoreless inning for the Rays. Pablo López (4-3) took the loss, allowing four runs in five innings.

Astros vs. Athletics

Víctor Caratini drove in two runs and Mexican Isaac Paredes scored and drove in one for the Houston Astros’ victory. Jeremy Peña scored a run, and Bryan Abreu pitched a scoreless inning for the Astros. Luis Severino pitched six innings of two-run ball, leaving without a decision, and Luis Urías contributed for the Athletics.

Diamondbacks vs. Pirates

Oneil Cruz, from the Dominican Republic, hit a home run and drove in three runs, supporting the performance of Paul Skenes (4-5), who pitched 6.2 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ victory.

Red Sox vs. Brewers

Wilyer Abreu and Ceddanne Rafaela hit home runs, and Rafael Devers drove in two runs, but the Boston Red Sox suffered their fifth consecutive loss. Freddy Peralta pitched five innings for the Brewers, allowing three runs and striking out six. Brayan Bello allowed two runs in 4.2 innings, both no-decisions.

Mets vs. White Sox

Andrew Benintendi hit a home run and drove in four runs, leading the Chicago White Sox to victory over the Mets in New York. Miguel Vargas scored two runs and Lenyn Sosa added one for the White Sox. Mark Vientos hit a three-run homer for the Mets.
