New York, USA – Michael Jordan, the iconic basketball legend, returns to the NBA, but this time from a new perspective: the broadcast booths.
NBC announced this Monday the addition of the former player as a special collaborator in its league broadcasts. This agreement, which will begin from the 2025-2026 season, represents a significant milestone in sports coverage.
This will be the first time Jordan actively participates in the NBA media coverage since his final retirement in 2003, following in the footsteps of other prominent figures of his generation, such as Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.
I’m excited to see the NBA return to NBC. The fact that the NBA has been on NBC is a significant part of my career and I’m thrilled to be a special contributor on the project.
