Mayweather and Pacquiao: The Epic Rematch in Las Vegas

The boxing world is preparing for a showdown that promises to be historic. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, two legends of the ring, will meet again on September 19 in Las Vegas, United States, eleven years after their first and media-hyped fight. The fight will take place at The Sphere, a state-of-the-art venue, and is already generating great anticipation among boxing fans and experts. In 2015, Mayweather won by unanimous decision after twelve rounds at the MGM Grand, in a night known as “the fight of the century.” That event broke audience records and generated multimillion-dollar pay-per-view revenue.

I already fought and defeated Manny once. This time the result will be the same.

The rematch will be broadcast live on Netflix, a platform that officially confirmed the event and highlighted the persistence of “unfinished business and a great rivalry between two of the best boxers of all time.” Mayweather, known as “Money”, recently announced his return to professional boxing, after participating in exhibition fights. The American, with 49 years old, maintains an undefeated record of 50 victories, 27 of them by knockout. Pacquiao, 47 years old and the only world champion in eight divisions, will seek sporting vindication and close a rivalry that marked an era.

It’s been eleven years since Floyd and I gave the world the biggest fight in boxing history. The fans have waited long enough. They deserve this rematch.

This showdown revives one of the most emblematic rivalries in the sport and will once again pit two figures who defined boxing of their generation against each other.
