Luca Marini Continues His Journey with Honda HRC until 2026
Italian rider Luca Marini has secured his place as an official rider for Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship season. The announcement, made today by the Japanese manufacturer, confirms Marini’s continued presence within the team.
In 2025, Marini has shown significant progress with the Honda RC213V. He has managed to score points in every race he has competed in, tripling his 2024 season score in the first twelve rounds. His best result so far is a fifth place obtained in the Hungarian Grand Prix.Marini expressed his commitment to the project and his determination to help Honda regain its leading position in the MotoGP World Championship. He highlighted the constant improvement and teamwork since joining the team in 2024. The Italian rider added that working with a factory like Honda HRC offers great motivation, especially after the good season they have had so far, with the aim of continuing to improve until the last lap in Valencia.I am very happy to continue at Honda HRC and we have only been working on some final details, both the HRC management and myself have been in agreement about the future for quite some time.
