Santo Domingo. The outstanding Dominican sprinter Marileidy Paulino has once again demonstrated her supremacy in world athletics, achieving an impressive victory in the 400-meter flat race of the Diamond League, held in Monaco this Friday.

With a spectacular finish in the final meters, Paulino crossed the finish line with a time of 49.06 seconds, surpassing the American Aaliyah Butler, who seemed to be taking the victory.

The difference between both athletes was minimal, barely three tenths of a second, which underlines the high competitiveness and fighting spirit of the Dominican athlete.

Paulino, after his triumphant debut in the Diamond League in Paris, where he also won, once again demonstrates his ability to compete at the highest level.

Unlike other races, on this occasion the Olympic and world champion had to push herself to the limit. Her powerful finish in the last 100 meters was crucial to secure a victory that highlights both her physical condition and her competitive spirit.

With this new triumph, Paulino has a total of $20,000 in prize money this season in the Diamond League, thanks to his two consecutive victories, each valued at $10,000.

The Dominican athlete continues to establish herself as one of the main candidates for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games, reinforcing her elite position in international athletics.
