Domain in the TBS Santo Domingo: Los Mina and Caminantes lead
Santo Domingo – The excitement of the Santo Domingo Province Superior Basketball Tournament 2026 (TBS) continues to rise. This Sunday, the teams of Club Los Mina and Caminantes de Los Alcarrizos achieved crucial victories, solidifying their position at the top of their respective groups.
These results demonstrate the competitiveness of the tournament and the quality of basketball being displayed in the province.
With these victories, Los Mina ties Club Calero of Villa Duarte at the top of group A, both with a 2-1 record. For their part, the Caminantes tie with the Trenes de Santo Domingo Norte, also with a 2-1 record, in group B.
The Sunday event took place at the sports center of the Ozama Club, in Santo Domingo Este, the main stage for this championship dedicated to President Luis Abinader.Los Mina defeats Caobas City
The Los Mina team demonstrated their offensive power, led by reinforcement Jerry Flores, who scored 23 points. The final score was 93-86 over Caobas City.
Flores counted on the support of Bryan Luciano, who contributed 17 points and six rebounds, while Willy Batista added 16 units and Yasuel Batista 12.
By Caobas City, Ezequiel Pérez stood out with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Brayan Beato contributed 24 points and 7 rebounds. In the second game of the day, Los Alcarrizos Walkers defeated Club Calero de Villa Duarte 86-82, taking away their undefeated status in the tournament.
Luis Manuel López led the Caminantes’ offense with 25 points. Anderson Mirambeaux contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds, and Nargenis Ulloa also scored 12 units. Jostin Rodríguez and Ronny Mateo finished with 11 points each.
