LIDOM Reveals the Round Robin Schedule for the 2025-2026 Season
The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has released the official schedule for the Round Robin phase of the 2025-2026 season. The games will begin at the end of December and will extend throughout January, including strategically scheduled rest days.
The calendar, which bears the Round Robin logo and the official league mark, spans seven weeks of competition between December and January. The four qualified teams will face off in a series of matches to secure their place in the postseason.
Key Dates and Distribution of the Meetings
- Late December: December 27, 28, 29 and 30: Start of the Round Robin with double daily sessions. The matchups include Escogido vs. Águilas, Toros vs. Gigantes, and other crosses defined in the calendar.
- First Weekend of January: Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th: Second round of matches with two-day series to give continuity to the action.
- Week of January 7th to 10th: Monday to Thursday: Daily scheduled matches, followed by a day off to allow teams to rest.
- Second Weekend of January: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th: More matches on the calendar, with rest days interspersed to adjust logistics and player recovery.
- Week of January 13th to 17th: Monday to Friday: The phase is coming to an end with a new series of matches, including crucial clashes that will define the final positions.
