Licey Reacts with Force and Defeats the Toros del Este
SANTO DOMINGO – The Tigres del Licey unleashed their offensive power in the seventh inning, driven by key singles from Luis Campusano and Mel Rojas Jr., securing a 6-3 victory over the Toros del Este this Monday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, in the continuation of the 2025-26 Winter Baseball Tournament.

Misael Tamárez (2-0) was awarded the victory after a solid relief appearance of one inning, allowing no runs. Kelvin Cáceres (0-1) took the loss, while Jean Carlos Mejía pitched the ninth inning to secure the save.

The Bulls took a 2-0 lead in the third inning thanks to a hit by De La Cruz and a two-run homer by Manuel Peña.
Licey responded in the bottom of the third inning, tying the score 2-2 with RBIs from Hensley and Barrera, in addition to a run scored by Campusano due to a wild pitch.
