Licey Tigers Roar to Victory Against the Toros del Este
Santo Domingo – Los Tigres del Licey demonstrated their offensive power in an exciting match against the Toros del Este, culminating in a 6-3 victory at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium. The game, corresponding to the 2025-26 Winter Baseball Tournament, saw the blues react strongly in a crucial seventh inning.
Luis Campusano and Mel Rojas Jr. connected singles that drove in runs, leading a four-run rally that sealed the Licey victory. This result ends a streak of five consecutive losses for the national champions, who now improve their record to 10-16.
