Leones del Escogido will celebrate championship with a parade in Santo Domingo
The Leones del Escogido will take their champion title to the streets of Santo Domingo this Thursday starting at 3:00 in the afternoon. The traditional champions’ caravan will commemorate the obtaining of the number 18 crown in the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).
The scarlet parade will begin at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium and will go through important avenues of the National District, ending at the same starting point. This route will allow the meeting between the players, directors and the passionate red fans.
The caravan route will include the following avenues:

- John F. Kennedy
- V Centenario Express
- Father Castellanos
- Josefa Brea
- Mexico
- Máximo Gómez
- George Washington
- Abraham Lincoln
The Escogido secured the championship last Tuesday, January 27, by defeating the Toros del Este 1-0 in the fifth game of the Final Series, which they dominated 4-1. This victory represents the return of the reds to the top of Dominican winter baseball.
With this victory, the scarlet franchise consolidates its successful trajectory and positions itself as one of the most outstanding organizations in the country, occupying the third historical place in championships.
