La Liga Launches Reward Plan Against Piracy in Hospitality
Madrid – La Liga has implemented a new incentive plan aimed at combating the fraudulent emission of content in establishments in the HORECA sector (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafeterias/Catering). This program offers a reward of 50 euros to users who submit valid and effective complaints. To facilitate this process, La Liga has enabled an official Complaints Channel, accessible via mobile devices. In this channel, the evidence presented will be evaluated to determine its validity and compliance with the established requirements.La Liga has also provided guidance for fans to identify potential illegal broadcasts. During the broadcast, the absence of letters in the corner of the television screen can be a warning sign.“The objective is twofold: to protect establishments that legally broadcast football and to facilitate citizen collaboration in the defense of audiovisual rights.”
