United States – Dominican Republic’s Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, prepares for a moment of honor in the baseball world.Cruz will have the privilege of throwing the first ball in the match between the Seattle Mariners and the New York Mets, an event that will take place at Citi Field.This special invitation is part of an initiative to recognize the significant contribution of the Dominican community to Major League Baseball.Currently, Minister Cruz is in New York City, participating in the inauguration of the Juan Pablo Duarte Sports Games.This important sporting event, which will run from August 15th to 31st in the Bronx, will bring together numerous Dominican athletes who reside outside the country.
