At 22 years old, Caminero is experiencing a peak moment in his first full season with the Rays. Nicknamed “La Máxima” by his fans, the third baseman has established himself as one of the most outstanding Dominican figures in baseball in 2025, being the third Dominican player to hit more than 30 home runs this season. The personal celebration coincided with a new sporting achievement. After the revelation of his daughter’s gender, Caminero returned to the field and hit a grand slam against Cardinals reliever Matt Svanson.
