John Victor’s Injury: Nottingham Forest Goalkeeper Leaves the Field in Tears

Brazilian goalkeeper John Victor of Nottingham Forest was forced to leave the field during Saturday’s match against Aston Villa in Birmingham after suffering a left knee injury.

The situation occurred in the 78th minute of the match, at which point the goalkeeper showed obvious signs of pain and left visibly affected.

The injury occurred during the play of Aston Villa’s third goal, when Victor failed in a clearance, allowing John McGinn to score the 3-1. Immediately after the action, the goalkeeper grabbed his left knee, showing clear gestures of pain.

After falling on the grass, Nottingham Forest’s medical staff attended to Victor. Although he was able to leave the field on his own, he did so limping and accompanied by the doctors, showing concern for the injury.

John Victor was replaced in the 78th minute by Matz Sels. Medical tests are expected to be performed in the coming hours to determine the severity of the injury.
