Santiago – Last season’s batting average leader, JC Escarra, has been confirmed to join the Águilas Cibaeñas this Tuesday the 21st. He is expected to be available to play immediately, as he was included in the team’s weekly roster. The announcement was made by the team leader, Luis “Pipe” Urueta, last Sunday before the game at the Cibao Stadium, where the Eagles defeated the Tigres del Licey 4-0.
