The 2026 World Baseball Classic, to be held from March 6 to 17, will feature special coverage by sports journalist Iván Cruz Díaz, CEO of UnchinDpelota. The tournament, which will bring together the main powers of international baseball, will be hosted at loanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. This venue will host Group D matches, as well as the semi-finals and the grand final, scheduled for March 17.

The D Group will be made up of Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Israel and Nicaragua. The distribution of the other groups is as follows:- Group A: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Canada, Panama, and Colombia

- Group C: Japan, Australia, South Korea, Czech Republic, and Chinese Taipei
World Baseball Stars in the Tournament
The event will feature the participation of world-renowned figures. Among the outstanding players are Shohei Ohtani, Most Valuable Player of the previous tournament with Japan; Aaron Judge, representing the United States; and Juan Soto and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for the Dominican Republic, among other Major League stars. It has been reported that some players will not be able to participate due to insurance restrictions.
