INEFI Inaugurates Motor Skills Classroom and Delivers Sports Equipment in Independencia

The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) continues its work to strengthen education and sports throughout the country. On this occasion, the executive director, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, led the inauguration of a motor skills classroom at the Hogar Escuela Nuevos Horizontes Educational Center, located in the municipality of Duvergé, Independencia province. During the event, Rodríguez Mella highlighted the institutional commitment to bring quality educational resources to the most needy communities. This classroom is the fifth of its kind delivered nationwide, and its main objective is to promote the integral development of children through the early stimulation of their motor skills, coordination, balance, and body expression.

“With this specialized space, the fifth delivered nationwide, we seek to foster the integral development of children through the early stimulation of their motor skills, coordination, balance, and body expression, fundamental pillars for a meaningful education from the early years,” he informed.

Master Jacobo Moquete, promoter of the Psychomotricity Classrooms, also participated in the ceremony and emphasized the importance of these spaces for the formation of more active, attentive, and emotionally balanced children. The activity was attended by student Ashier González Medina, representing the student body, and the mayor of the municipality, Francisco Peña, who offered words of support to continue strengthening education at the local level. In addition to the inauguration, INEFI delivered sports equipment to ten educational centers in the municipality of Duvergé, reaffirming its commitment to promoting school sports as a tool for social transformation.
