INEFI Boosts Sports in Azua with Mobile Court and Equipment
Azua – The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), through its program “Athletes with INEFI”, has delivered a mobile basketball court and sports equipment to the Los Restauradores neighborhood, in the municipality of Azua. This initiative’s main objective is to promote sports practice and healthy recreation among the community’s youth. The project seeks to positively impact children, adolescents, and young people, promoting healthy lifestyles and integral development through physical activity. The delivery of the court took place after the dissemination of a video on social media that showed the need for sports spaces in the sector. This motivated INEFI to coordinate actions with the Regional Education Office 03, Azua, for the installation of the court.The delivery act was headed by María García, a high-performance athlete and national judo champion, who is in charge of the “Athletes with INEFI” program, by order of the general director of INEFI, Alberto Rodríguez. She was accompanied by a commission from the institution to formalize the donation. The event was attended by Professor Víctor Pérez, representing INEFI; the regional education advisor, Robert Brito; supervisors from the 03-01 Educational District of Azua, as well as students, teachers, and personalities linked to the area of Physical Education. The community residents enthusiastically welcomed the initiative, highlighting its social and sporting impact on the sector.The initiative seeks to positively impact children, adolescents, and young people in the community, promoting healthy lifestyles.
