WWE legend Hulk Hogan passes away
The entertainment and wrestling world is in mourning. The iconic WWE wrestler, Hulk Hogan, has passed away at the age of 71.
The news was confirmed this Thursday morning. Paramedics responded to an emergency call at his residence in Clearwater, Florida, due to cardiac arrest.
According to reports, several police and emergency service vehicles were seen at the scene, and Hogan was taken on a stretcher to an ambulance.
A few weeks ago, his wife, Sky Hogan, had denied rumors about his health, assuring that his heart was “strong” while recovering from recent surgeries.
Although it was known that Hogan was facing complications after a neck surgery in May, his death has been an unexpected blow to his millions of followers worldwide.
An Unforgettable Legacy in Wrestling
Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was not only a superstar inside the ring, but also a cultural phenomenon. His personality and style revolutionized professional wrestling, turning it into a family entertainment spectacle on a global level.
In 1996, he transformed his image as Hollywood Hogan, by founding the emblematic group NWO (New World Order), which redefined his career and shook up the industry.
