Azua Steps Up in Sports: Multipurpose Facility Inaugurated and More Works Announced

The Dominican government inaugurated this Wednesday a modern multipurpose facility in Tábara Abajo, Azua, marking a milestone in the promotion of sports and recreation in the province. The inaugural event was attended by the Minister of Sports, Ing. Kelvin Cruz, along with the provincial governor, Licda. María Minerva Navarro, and various local and community authorities.

Under the slogan “It’s the time for the south and Azua is present, Azua is in fashion”, the aim is to provide the youth of Azua with cutting-edge spaces for sports development and healthy recreation. Governor Navarro highlighted the relevance of these initiatives, which open doors to the growth and well-being of young people, and urged the community to preserve and make the most of these facilities. Additionally, the construction of six similar multipurpose spaces in different municipalities of the province was announced, thus consolidating Azua’s commitment to sports and social development.
