San Francisco de Macorís – The Gigantes del Cibao have revealed the starting pitcher rotation for the next four games of the regular season. The information was provided by manager José Leger, who emphasized the need to maintain consistency in the pitching staff.
Tonight, in a matchup against the Toros del Este, right-hander Emilio Vargas will take the responsibility of opening the game, scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Francisco Micheli Stadium in La Romana.
On Friday, at the Julián Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macorís, the left-handed Steve Moyers will be the starting pitcher in the 7:00 PM game against the Águilas Cibaeñas.
For Saturday, also at the Julián Javier, but at 5:00 PM, right-hander Wily Peralta will be the starting pitcher against the Tigres del Licey.
Concluding the rotation, on Sunday in San Pedro de Macorís, the experienced pitcher Shane Greene will take the mound at 5:00 PM to face the Estrellas Orientales.
The Gigantes del Cibao organization has reaffirmed its confidence in its pitchers to maintain a high level of competition during the season.
