Gigantes del Cibao Reveal LIDOM Preseason Schedule

San Francisco de Macorís – The Gigantes del Cibao have revealed their preseason game schedule, marking the beginning of their preparation for the upcoming season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). The Francomacorisano team will face off in seven preparation games, designed to hone their skills and strategies before the start of the regular season.

Preseason Details

Of the seven scheduled games, four will be played at the Julián Javier Stadium, giving fans the opportunity to see their team at home. The remaining three games will be away games, bringing the excitement of baseball to other cities. The Gigantes del Cibao will face the Águilas Cibaeñas, the Tigres del Licey, and will also have a game against the Kansas Instructional League.

• Friday, October 3: vs Águilas in Santiago – 1:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 7: vs Licey in San Francisco de Macorís – 12:05 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 8: vs Águilas in Santiago – 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday, October 9: vs Licey in Boca Chica – 12:05 p.m.
• Saturday, October 11: vs Águilas in San Francisco de Macorís – 11:00 a.m.
• Monday, October 13: vs Kansas Instructional League in San Francisco de Macorís – 12:30 p.m.

As part of their preparation, the Giants already held two intrasquad games last Monday and Tuesday at the Julián Javier Stadium, in which the coaching staff was able to evaluate established players and new figures competing for a spot on the official roster.
