At 34 years old, the player from Santiago continues to be a pillar in the team’s offense and defense, recognized for his versatility and leadership in the locker room.

League Career

Selected in the 2009 Rookie Draft of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League, García has played all his regular seasons with the Giants, accumulating 282 hits and a batting average of .285 in 260 games. In this time, he has recorded 138 runs scored, 13 home runs and 95 RBIs.

Recent Performance

In the 2025-2026 season, “El Picante” participated in 27 games, connecting 22 hits, including four doubles and one home run, scoring 10 runs. With this signing, the management reinforces the team’s experience and leadership for the upcoming season, relying on their track record in the Major Leagues as a key factor in the pursuit of the championship.
