Gigantes del Cibao Remove José Leger as Manager
SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS – The Gigantes del Cibao have announced a reorganization of their coaching staff, resulting in the departure of José Leger as team manager. The decision comes after a 0-3 start in the Todos contra Todos of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) championship. The information was communicated by Jaylon Pimentel, general manager of the franchise, who expressed his gratitude to Leger for his work. Pimentel highlighted Leger’s dedication and professionalism since the beginning of training in September.Jefry Sierra will assume the role of interim manager for Wednesday’s game against the Leones del Escogido, which will be played at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium. In addition, bench coach Felipe Rojas is also leaving his duties with the team. Kremlin Martínez will take his place starting with the next commitment.
