Gigantes del Cibao and Águilas Cibaeñas: New Duel at the Julián Javier

This matchup marks the third clash between both teams in this semifinal phase. The Águilas Cibaeñas arrive with the advantage, having won the previous two games, both resolved in extra innings with scores of 10-6 and 8-7.
The game, initially scheduled for 5:00 PM, was rescheduled for 7:00 PM due to an incident outside the Julián Javier stadium. An accident near the stadium caused problems with the electricity poles, which forced this change of schedule while the situation is resolved.
Regarding pitchers, the Gigantes del Cibao have announced Shane Greene, right-handed, as their starter. For their part, the Águilas Cibaeñas will have right-hander Osvaldo Bidó on the mound.
