Santo Domingo – Los Héroes de Moca achieved a crucial victory over the Reales de La Vega with a score of 75-70 at the Moca 85 sports complex. This triumph improves their record to 7-6 in the LNB Super League, ending a streak of two consecutive losses.
Kam’ron Blue shined in his debut, leading the offense with 18 points. Eloy Vargas also had an outstanding performance with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks. Kevin Obanor contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaison Valdez added 11 units and nine assists.
On the part of the Kings, Malachi Richardson was the top scorer with 20 points, followed by Alanzo Frink and Ramón Galloway, both with 10 points.
The Heroes of Moca dominated much of the game, resisting a strong reaction from the Reales in the last quarter, thanks to a solid defense led by Vargas. Moca’s defense limited the Reales to 36% field goal effectiveness, tying the regular season series 1-1.
