Punta Cana – Domenico Geminiani emerged as champion of the first stop of the Tour Canita Mastercard Banreservas, an event that took place this weekend at the prestigious Punta Blanca Golf Course, located in Punta Cana. Geminiani demonstrated his skill on the field, finishing the three rounds with an impressive -19 under par for the course. His performance translated into a total of 197 strokes, the result of rounds of 63, 67, and 67. Wolmer Murillo secured second place with a total of 200 strokes, after registering rounds of 70, 64 and 66. Anthony García completed the podium, placing in third position with an accumulated score of 72, 67 and 67. This Canita Tour tournament stood out for the participation of a large number of international professional golfers, marking a milestone in the history of the event. It is important to note that the top three finishers managed to complete the tournament with results below par: -19 for the champion, -16 for Murillo, and -10 for Garcia. The next stop of the Canita Tour is scheduled to take place between October 24 and 26 of this year, at the La Cana Golf Course.
