PANAMÁ – The Dominican Baseball Federation Inc. (Fedom) is finalizing the details for its participation in the first Copa América de Béisbol, an event that will be held entirely at the Mariano Rivera stadium in Panama.

Juan Núñez, president of Fedom, has appointed Luis Andrew Polonia (Luisito Polonia) as general manager of the Dominican team, who in turn appointed Alexis Gómez.

The Copa América, organized by the Pan American Baseball Confederation (WBSC Americas), will take place from November 13 to 22, 2025.

Group B will be made up of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Panama and Puerto Rico.

The tournament will begin on November 13th with the group stage, followed by the Super Round on November 19th, and will culminate with the Medal Round on November 22nd.
