FDA Secures the Future of Dominican Motorsport in The Americas

Santo Domingo – The Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA) continues to lead the Las Américas International Racetrack, ensuring the celebration of the national championships.These championships will encompass various motorsport disciplines, including Automobilism, Drag Racing, Drift, Karting, Motorcycling, and Gymkhana. In addition, private events will be facilitated for companies wishing to use the facilities for important events.

Acknowledgement and Commitment

Adriano Abreu Sued, president of the FDA, expressed his gratitude to the business community and member clubs for their constant support. Likewise, he highlighted the trust placed in his management to continue promoting the sport.

We have fulfilled our commitment to the owners of the Autódromo Las Américas, guaranteeing the continuity of our disciplines. Thanks to all those who have worked hand in hand for this and grateful to all for the unconditional support to Dominican motorsport and our federation.

The FDA has sent the official calendar for the start of the new championship to the invited clubs, such as Track Club RD and the Dominican Circuit Runners Club (CDCC). This calendar, organized by the sports institution, includes exciting events throughout the year.

Events Calendar

The events will begin on March 22nd, marking the first date of a calendar that includes a total of 4 events, culminating on November 15th. On the other hand, the Dominican Karting Runners Club (CDCK) has scheduled two dates for its championship, to be held on April 19th and August 23rd.The Dominican Drag Racing Club (CDPD), in collaboration with the Caribbean Drag League, will be in charge of the drag racing events. Meanwhile, the Dominican Drift Racers Club (CDCD) has a full schedule of exciting events in this discipline. The Dominican Motorcycle Federation (FDM) will work together with the FDA for the two-wheeled events.This season promises to be even more exciting, with the aim of offering new experiences to fans. Significant changes are anticipated that will improve the show and the experience of attendees.International events will include the GT Challenge of the Americas, which will have the Dominican Republic as its venue for its fourth date. In addition, the return of the Dominican/Puerto Rican championship is expected, allowing the participation of Puerto Rican drivers in national events and the competition of Dominican drivers in Puerto Rican territory.
