The game began with a fierce attack by the Lions in the first inning, taking advantage of the lack of control of the Toros’ starting pitcher, Nabil Crismatt. With the bases loaded and one out, a sacrifice fly by José Marmolejos allowed Erik González to score. Subsequently, a single by Navarro drove in Lake and Sócrates Brito, completing a three-run rally.
