This triumph represents the fourth consecutive victory for the Bulls, who now exhibit a record of 24-17, with an impressive 12-8 record playing as visitors. The victory reduces their magic number to two, bringing them closer to qualification.
Jiménez, who was interviewed after the game, hit his fourth home run of the season, the tenth of his career in the LIDOM. The hit, which traveled 387 feet through left-center field, was hit off a curveball from starting pitcher Shaun Anderson in the second inning. With this home run, Jiménez joins a select group of hitters with ten career home runs in the league. So far this season, Jiménez has a batting average of .221 (23 hits in 104 at-bats), with 12 runs scored, 4 home runs, 18 RBIs, and 10 walks received.
