Santo Domingo – The game scheduled for today between the Águilas Cibaeñas and the Leones del Escogido in Santo Domingo has been postponed.
The game was rescheduled for Sunday the 18th of this month, maintaining the same venue and starting at 4:00 p.m.
A first rain, which fell before the official game time, forced a delay in the start, while the stadium staff worked to condition the field with the intention of starting at 5:30 in the afternoon.
However, a new downpour caused the tarpaulins to be placed back over the field.
After a second inspection carried out by the refereeing body at 6:45 p.m., it was determined that there were no suitable conditions for the match to be held, which led to its definitive suspension.
