Miami, Florida – The Dominican Republic national team began its preparation for the 2026 World Baseball Classic with its first official practice in Miami this Sunday. The training session marked the beginning of the final stage of preparation for the international tournament.

Leadership and Enthusiasm on the Field

The training was supervised by Juan Núñez, president of the Dominican Baseball Federation, along with general manager Nelson Cruz and manager Albert Pujols. The coaching staff was also present, focusing on the team’s concentration and integration. The practice brought together the Dominican stars of Major League Baseball, who joined on the field for the first time wearing the tricolor jersey.
