With over 10.9 million votes cast, the first phase of voting for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game has concluded. Dominican players shone on the ballot, with several of their most outstanding representatives advancing to Phase 2.
Aaron Judge (Yankees) and Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers) were the most voted in their respective leagues, ensuring their automatic starting position for the game on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta.

Judge and Ohtani, both with 28 home runs so far, lead the offensive lists of their leagues and were awarded a direct classification to the All-Star Game as starters.

José Ramírez – Third baseman, Guardians
The Cleveland star received 2,777,085 votes, competing for his fourth starting position. He bats .318, with 13 HR, 38 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases. He is one of the most complete players in MLB and a fan favorite.
Ketel Marte – Second baseman, D-backs
With 2,534,002 votes, the infielder from Arizona has had a smashing streak after coming off the injured list. His offensive line of .308/.408/.616 positions him as one of the hottest in the National League.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. – First base, Blue Jays
With a solid season (.282 AVG, 11 HR), Vlad Jr. continues to be a prominent figure and advances as a finalist at first base for the American League.
Téoscar Hernández – Outfielder, Dodgers
Los Angeles’ right fielder continues to produce consistently: 14 home runs, an .800 OPS, and solid defense solidify him as a strong candidate for his second All-Star appearance.
What’s Next?
The Phase 2 voting will be held from Monday, June 30 to Wednesday, July 2, exclusively online through MLB.com/vote and the official apps. Phase 1 votes do not carry over, so all players start from scratch. The winners will be announced on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
