Dominicans Shine in MLB Network’s Top 100
The Dominican Republic reaffirms its dominance in Major League Baseball with an impressive presence in the ranking of the top 100 players of today, compiled by MLB Network for the 2026 season. A total of 16 Dominican players were included in this prestigious list, which evaluates the recent performance and projections of the players. Within this select group, three Dominicans managed to stand out among the top ten. José Ramírez placed fifth, followed by Juan Soto in sixth place and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in tenth place. The Quisqueyan representation was strengthened with new additions such as Geraldo Perdomo, Cristopher Sánchez, Jeremy Peña, Elly de la Cruz, Freddy Peralta and Framber Valdez.
